National Minimum Wage - UPDATE
National Minimum Wage Rates are changing, with effect from April 1st 2018

The rates of national minimum wage are increased for workers, with effect from 1 April 2018, as follows.
- aged 25 or over is increased from £7.50 to £7.83 per hour
- aged 21 or over (but not yet aged 25) is increased from £7.05 to £7.38 per hour
- aged 18 or over (but not yet aged 21) is increased from £5.60 to £5.90 per hour
- under the age of 18 is increased from £4.05 to £4.20 per hour
The apprenticeship rate is also increased from £3.50 to £3.70 per hour, and the accommodation offset amount applicable where any employer provides a worker with living accommodation is increased from £6.40 to £7.00 for each day that accommodation is provided.
